knock sensor
im doing a y8 swap into a 91 civic si hatch i have the motor in but wondering what do i do about the knock sensor im still using the p6 ecu will it still fire up without the knock sensor connected being that 91 never had a knock sensor and the p6 wouldnt recognize it period how does this work anyone with some help would be greatly appreciated thankx

if the ecu doesnt read for a knock sensor, then it doesnt matter if you have one or you dont. I think knock sensors are kinda pointless.

The only thing i think that wont Ignite is Vtec!..
The car would run fine, you really dont need Knock Sensor,
but for Vtec to engage (it wont with out it)..

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
