Modified ECU? Sounds like it doesnt have enough fuel at those load points.

It might be the ECM or the connections between the throttle kicker's switch and messaging to the ECM, check to see if the kicker isn't the problem, but i doubt it, but if it is, the ecu isn't getting the message from the kicker that it needs replacing, because it's a minor defect of the kicker. To check the kicker you need to pop the hood and check your throttle lines and the kicker looks like a baby hand sized torque converter. when ever the gas pedal is stepped on the kicker is tugged when the throttle is stretching when opening. It might not be tugging the kicker right away and not giving you that automatic kick, but istead pulling the throttle fa have a sec and then pulling the kicker which gets you to thinking it is hesitating.

WTF are you talking about?

Anyhoo, Sounds like a tip-in issue, does it happen at any RPM? If so it does sound like that ECU was mabye chipped?? or mabye the incorrect ECU for your application and is causing a over-rich condition or a over-lean condition, Which ECU is it?? Were you told it was chipped? throttle cable would have nothing to do with what is happening to you(unless its loooooooose as hell ) which I doubt.. let us know, Also I would check your plug wires and plugs, fouled plugs or bad wires/wire can cause a tip-in like feeling.

Alot of cars on the road will go lean for a milli second when you hit the gas hard, its not that uncommon, but yours seems to be doing it a little to long. LMK if I can help

i had the same problem in my car. i had 2 problems, my airfilter was dirty as hell and my injectors where kloged. go to discout and get a new filter and some injector cleaner and see if that helps first, that way if it doesnt help you only lost about 15 bucks.

Well, thats your problem right there, the motor in your car is a D-series right? A P75 is a Integra LS/RS DOHC Non Vtec ecu, If you are running that on your stock motor you will run into issues, The correct ECU you need is a P28,P06 or P07 depending on which motor setup you are running, Unless the ECU is chipped and converted, which in your case it sound not to be

the ecu is a p75 and he has an obd1 ls motor. the ecu is throwing codes 21 and 23 which are knock sensor and vtec solenoid. we put in a stock p75 and the car ran worse. it was jerking everytime he got on it. i believe its a fuel issue. im not really sure.

Well if the car is throwning a VTEC code then its not a P75 which is a Non Vtec motor? Or someone was playing with the ecu and made some unwanted changes?? And Im confused, I was under the asumption that he was running a SOHC motor as in his sig??

you assume wrong. and it is a p75. either way we put in a stock p75 from a 94 ls and it ran worse with the fuel cut and the codes.
