s2000?
hey i was wanting to know what you guys really think about the s2000 and what years are the fastest. how do they react to mods? what kind of 1/4 mile times do they put down stock? thanx. john

i think they run low 14's stock,they come with the f20c and f22c.i believe the 2004 and up have f22c and the older type f20c (2.0ltr).the f20 revs till 9000rpm to make 240hp and the f22c revs till 8000rpm because is a larger displacement motor,makes power earlier.i've heard from people that the older types are actually faster but not sure.

I have a friend with an all stock S2000, on Nitto 555DR (drag radials) that turned an 8.90 with a 1.7 60' ft, Very impressive to me for a stock S2000, and some damn good 60 ft's too. RWD Rocks! -Ben

hey man my brother has one and the only years that rev to 9000 are the 02 03. If your gonna get one i would make it those years. Also they have slightly diff interior which i prefer. diff center console

Hey, I dont' really know all of the details but my brother wants to sell his silver 2002 s2000 and he has some shit done to it.
3-piece ssr rims ( not exactly sure which model)
comptech exhaust
comptech sway bars
comptech suspension (not sure which ones)
He's looking for $22,000 obo if you want to know the details like mileage and all lmk

i like them. drive them all the time. thinking about just going a head to buy one. But yet i think they are a little over rated in some areas, but what cars arent. handles like a charm though.

00-03 revs to 9K
and just because it revs to 9k means nothing... doesnt make it faster or anything...
