and why do you think a homemade kit would put a "high dollar" kit to shame??

tell me cause im currious please

you mis read my post.

blakes homemade kit from what i remember it was under 1000. made ~320hp and ran very well in a heavy da teg vs all the greddy, revhard, etc kit's that i have seen costing 2k+ and they run like shit. i did not mean to say blakes kit owned every kit every made lol.

so do you think i am wrong in my assumtion on turbo honda's, and that 90% of them run like they are suppose to? i posted this question to discuss alot of stuff.

90 % of the turbo honda's USE to run like shit because of FMU's and 310cc injectors and GReddy blue boxes ....

Now that Crome/Hondata/Neptune has taken over they run much better . The car can only be as fast as the driver makes it though ...

i think i only saw the car go a 14.1, to make it simpler, thats in a NOS kit range as far as speed, and thats only 400 bux.

yeah you can get an SSAC kit for under a grand, but it WILL eventually shit on you, whether the turbo splits in two, the wastegate falls off, the intercooler leaks boost, the wastgate spring fails, or isnt the right one.

turbo kits cost money, because companies HAVE to R&D thier parts before opening them to the public, SSAC doesnt make HP claims but full-race, love fab, etc do.

point is you get what you pay for, i would hate to see you spend 100 bux on something, it brake, possibly ruin your motor and then you have to go spend twice as much to get back to square one

just looking out for ya

Spooling a PTE SC61 Snai nowl, On a 1.8L that can suck some air in(and out). I see full boost by 5600RPM, A bit quicker spool-up time would be nice, but traction down low will suffer even more that it is if that were to happen. But within a month, the NEW GT35R will be going on due to the damage the SC61 received a few monthes ago from a hasty owner and a un/used A/C harness plug
