so on friday 2/17 i ordered a drag kit from a guy on honda-tech. i paypal'ed $2600 to the company and they processed my order on the following monday 2/20, which they never sent an order confirmation for and i only found out about after sending 2 emails to them on tuesday 2/21. in the email they said that yes they processed my order and it would be sent in 2 business days, along with an email to me with my tracking number.
after waiting a week with no tracking number, i again emailed them and pm'ed the kid on honda-tech. i never got a response to my email, but the kid pm'ed me back saying that there was a back order on the turbo i requested and it should be filled and shipped in two weeks.
after 3 more weeks with no info, i again pm the kid asking for an update on 3/15. he tells that they just got the shipment of my turbonetics and my order would be shipped the next day.
so after not getting a tracking number or any info again, i email them on friday 3/17 asking whats going on with my order, as the kid said that the back order was in and my kit should have been shipped. their response on saturday 3/18 was to ask what kit i ordered....
as you can guess, this pissed me off quite a bit. i emailed them back the same day telling them that i wanted a tracking number or my money back. i got nothing back until after i sent them an email on sunday 3/19 saying that i just wanted to cancel my order and get my money back. they emailed me monday morning saying that they had shipped my kit on 3/17 and i couldnt get a refund.... but in that email, they still didnt give me a tracking number. i had to email them back 2 times before they gave it to me.
sure enough, they had shipped the "kit" on 3/17 and it would be here on thursday 3/23.
so on thursday i leave work early to get home and get the kit i have been waiting a month for. i get the big ass box from my office and take it home to my apartment and open it up. inside is my intercooler, manifold, down pipe, dump tube and some of the intercooler piping... but thats it. no turbo, no wastegate, no BOV or any of the other parts.
so now im really mad. i email them and pm the kid again... and got nothing. i finally get a response on saturday from the kid saying that there is another box coming and that he will get me to tracking number personally.
that was 2 days ago and i still have not heard a word. since i used paypal, i have 45 days to file a complaint and get them involved in helping to get my money back. today is day number 39.
what would you guys do?
i feel like im pestering this guy and this company, but they are not getting me any info that im asking for and im giving them several days each time to get back to me and im so pissed that all i really want is my money back.
should i box up the stuff and send it back to them and file a paypal claim? or should i just hang on and let this guy keep stringing me along until its too late to do anything?

nah u paid and thay owe u...if its after the aloted time and u need to request your $$ back..i hate when a ebay/paypal company does that..it make other sellers like myself look bad...turns people off to the whole concept... g/l and harass the shit outta of um..contact paypal

 

i was in your situation once... all u can do is tell them that if they dont give you any further information that you are asking for that you will report them to paypal, and what will happen is paypal will send them a bill that they have to pay or at least respond to. if they dont respond, then paypal will give you your 2600 back and bill them. after they bill them those people will not be allowed to use paypal or sell anything online untill they pay back paypal. so go ahead and tell them that if they dont give you the info you are asking for, you are going to report them to paypal, but all in all tell them that you have been given no choice, and be kinda nice about it, they should do whats right. This is not true.....Paypal will only take what they have in their account at that time if you win the dispute....I just went through this. They will not be allowed to use their account till they pay, correct, but you will not get your money if they dont have it in there account. I would def file with paypal, cause they can try to resolve this before they have to pay it....and at least it will be on file with paypal that they are not cooperating with you. Good luck man.

 

Since today is num. 39 go ahead send them and email saying you are going to contact paypal if they don't give you your information. Wait until tom. and see if they respond and give it to you, if they don't i say go ahead and contact paypal. Even if he responds saying its sent but no tracking num. call paypal. What company is this??

 

correction, i have just went through this about a month ago and that is what took place. I guess your case was different, in my case they gave me my money back and billed the other party. I guess it all works out differently.

i would also take this thread and post the same thing on h-t if you havent already then you have let everyone on honda-tech know these people are fuckin with you and maybe there will be someone that has previously done business with them and tell you if they dicked them around but 1 deff tell them your gonna report it to pay pal 2. if no response or more bullshit make this thread on hondatech and if you still dont have any response keep calling them everyday and if nothing else annoy the shit out of them... they would rather shut you up and make you happy then have you tell every single person on honda-tech how there company blows dick.... some businesses dont have any prob taking your money and sending the shit out whenever they get around to it..
