Default Clutch Help

well i was sitting at a light and preparing to turn when all of a sudden when i go to put it in gear and then it stalls, now all of a sudden i have no clutch pressure at all. This is the stock clutch on 94 Civic DX with 60XXX miles on it, is it time for a change? Can I still drive on it?

Well, if the clutch is bad you could drive on it...kinda. You would just have to turn the car off everytime you stop put it in first and start it again...lol. then youd have to rev match to switch gears. trust me its not fun and not good for your car. I would have it looked at ASAP. Also check all the lines, make sure nothing fell off or got loose.

Before you go tearing the tranny down, make sure there is fluid in the resivour.
my buddy just went through this on his lude and it turned out just to be low on fluid and all sorts of air in the line.

Did you smell burning clutch when this happened?

check your slave cylinder to see if it moves when the clutch pedal is pressed. if it is wet or looks as if it is leaking theres your problem. imo you would have to seriously beat a clutch for it to go out in 60k. not saying its not possible but not likely. If you need a clutch installed pm me.

Check the slave cylinder and see if it has gear lube or master cylinder fluid within it and if so is it being pumped when the clutch pedal linkage is pulled and clutch is engaged and if it is, then the clutch needs to go.
