i couldnt really understand your post but if its leaking and you have a new valve cover make sure when your putting the new one on its on the right way no upside down, its all pushed into the grooves, and you use some gasket sealer all the way around, just to be safe. you can get away with none but obviously somethings wrong with yours.

your only suppose to put honda bond in the corners. I never know why people cake that stuff on seals etc.. It works though I guess. It just lots bad with excessive sealant. Know what i mean homie.

o and that when you have to replace the seal or remove the gasket your going to have to clean off all that honda bond that you used to get a proper seal if you ever remove the vavle cover again. There really is no reason to put it all the way around that is what the gasket it there for. Pm teamcallogay. He's the expert.

^^^^ what he said. the biggest pain in the ass with my old chevy was using form-a-gasket on the valve covers, it's a bitch to get it all off, I was so glad when I finally stopped being cheap and bought rubber gaskets. If you need a gasket plus a full layer of sealant for a valvecover then something is really wrong.

if your valvecover grommets are old, then are probably too compressed and not able to snug all the way down, i had the same issue, rerplaced them and it quit. you just cant get any tension on the cover if the grommets are too compressed
