well i blew a head gasket like a month ago and changed it come to find out i had a bent valve n warped head so i got another head off here put it on today its all running fine but when it heats up and oil light goes on any ideas? by the ways it a 94 ls........................Shit...well as i was getting off the highway<275>only went about 3 miles onit the car turned off thought it was seized but i turned the car on. there was a pretty loud tapping no clue to know if it was there be for it turned off cuz the radio was on..but i drove it home bout 1 more mile. does anyone have anyclue to as what the fuck to do?.................i did buy the head on tr..........no disrespect

 

check the oil sending unit on the back of the block.

 

i thought it was on the side of the head?

Have you checked your oil level? Ususally when the oil light pops on, it means your have about 1qt. of oil in your motor.

You probably spun a bearing... Your motor is probably damaged beyond repair if you drove it for a long time with 4 psi of oil pressure.

 

put in 3.5qts of oil and pray.

most likely you'll be needing a new engine soon

 

i changed the oil today it was on ryte away on b4 the change too
