Question does the f22b harness work for the h22a?

im doing a swap on an accord 97 from a f22b obd2 to a h22a obd1, unfortunately I dont have the harness for the h22a, so i was told i can use the harness that i have on my f22b on the h22a and just add the v-tec wiring, along with changing the distributor, alternator ecu and ecu converter. I just want to 2ble check with you people so please let me know if thsi will work out correctly. In case i would need anyhting else let me know. ...thanks

It will work, but i think you will have to lengthen some wires. And you will need to wire in the vtec solenoid wire, vtec pressure switch, knock sensor, and secondary intake solenoid. If im wrong could someone else please chime in.

this is basically the same as the h22a i have in my CL the one of the main problems is that the obd2 motors have the CKP sensor located on the oil pump rather than in the distributor your h22a is going to have this sensor located in the dist. i attempted to wire mine to work properly from the distributor i did get the car to run but was throwing a CEL for it not sure if the obd2 ecu likes the obd1 sensors.

so your options are to change out the oil pump with one from an h22a4 wich has the sensor in the correct location or convert the car to obd1 with a jumper harness and do some wiring. these are the best 2 options i have found for this swap. there are alot of write ups on doing this swap do some searchs in google im sure you can find them easly.
