I believe the injectors are from a EVO3(yellow top), they are peak and hold but they are low impedence. Now would I need a resistor box for these injectors for my z6 turbo? I have one hooked up right now , but i dont wanna destroy the wiring just to find out if it works, and then find out i have to wire it all again.....thx!

 

Why don't you just use the DSM 450's I sold you ? You know they are peak & hold (low impedance) and require a resistor box.

No guessing game of what injectors you have. That z6 will blow up before you run out of injector with the 450.

 

the problem is , i had a 390 basemap at the time and thought i didn't need the 450's so i re-sold them lol.

 

pretty much all dsm injectors are low impedience. Use a multimeter and check the resistance to be sure. low impedience will be 2-3ohms, high impedience will be 12-14ohms.

.....ask cronic (jeff) we searched these damn 510cc injectors for hours on Google Dave, they just arn't used that much. Hard to find info on. One guy said they were 12.9 on the ohm meter and then others said LOW impedence....

 

multi - meter will be your best friend.......

 

dsm injectors are compatible with each other. i didnt know that the 93 were 510cc the newer ones are 560cc. however they need a resistor box unless ur obd0
