wow, looks like you beat the shit out of that thing.

im pretty sure that they use a press to get that in, so it'll be hard, but mine came out pretty easy from hitting it from the bottom.

goodluck

the ball joints are machine press fitted. you need to remove the whole brake assembley and upper control arm. then u need to find a machine shop that can fit their press into that tight area (i know honda does it but its pretty expensive)

i assume that you did remove the snap rings right? if so just pull the wheel assembly and turn it upside down and hit that bitch with a big ass hammer....you dont need a press iv done like 3 or 4 without one and im not that big of a guy.

well if u put it that way, beating the shit out of anything with a big as hammer will probably work too, pressed or not

Not too hard to do with a nice sized hammer.

Take off the assembly. Mount it into a nice vice. Knock the ever loving piss out of it from the bottom until it comes out. Get a new one pressed in ... or you can do what I did and hammer it back in. You can get it far enough in for the circlip to fit right around without using a press.

Snap rings are in a groove on the ball joint. It's a circlip type deal that prevents the balljoint from moving back up and out from the weight of the car pushing down on it. You need a certain type of plyers with little prongs for spreading them apart.
