Default CYP code because of LS dizzy?

Car is throwing a code 9 which is cyp sensor. distributor is fine, just came off an ls, now its on a vtec head. i always thought they were interchangeable? we cut off the peg for the vtec solenoid, and put it on the car. any suggestions or should i just go ahead and get the obd1 vtec dizzy?

i have an obd0-obd1 conversion, so maybe the fault is in the little harness on the dizzy...hopefully...

I dont think the dizzy would just take a crap out of nowhere.... =( no codes on the last setup at all! Ill check over the wiring really good tomorrow. My o2 is acting gay now too. a/f gauge reads lean at all times, so it sounds like the conversion harness acting up... !!!

well your a/f gauge is useless unless your running wideband. i was throwing the same code 9 after obd0--->obd1 conversion. turned out to be 2 wires backwards. double check your wiring from the harness to the new dizzy.

Not really. Pre-OBD(OBd0) distributors only work with OBD0 ecus. OBD1 or OBD2 distributors are compatible to each other.

How did you wire the distributor? Color for color? Who's harness are you running?

Heres the dilemma, I had the EXACT same equipment and stuff hooked up last week on the ls motor. havent changed anything wiring-wise.... Then, I start up my gsr and i automatically get the cel for cyp and the o2 isnt working. What I DID change, was the wiring from the conversion harness to the o2 sensor.

I just disconnected it, to add the plugs so I can disconnect it and stuff.

I have it wired to the diagram that came with the harness. My friend got it from xenocron.com

Maybe someone can repost the wiring color codes for me? For reassurance? My vtec didnt work when I went color according too. I used my vafc for vtec.... I want to fix it to where the ecu will hit vtec by itself....
