Need opinions...
1991 Honda Accord 4 door ex Auto (wifeys)
car has 87xxx miles on it. clean as a whistle.
questions i have and i would like some opinions and what not..
its time for brake servicing and i figured since she wants to mod her car, anything that needs replacing that can be upgraded should be right? am i wrong?
anyways, i figured on brembos cross drilled or slotted not both.
some high quality pads(ebc,etc)
braided stainless steel lines
the rear is drums so i figured doing the disc brake conversion from a model that has all 4wheels disc.
painting calipers a nice black(gloss i guess)
what else can i do to the brake system that isnt super expensive or meant for a track car. the car is freshly painted, she has wheels that are getting ready to be painted black as well.
the size on the rims are 18x8 i believe, tires 215 35 18.
how low of a drop will be comfy with not to big of a wheel gap and i dont want her to scrape. i will be matching the springs with some nice shocks so you can recommend a matching set. coilovers are not really a consideration since she doesnt need all that adjusability.
i will have many more questions as her project comes along. maybe in the near future we can start mine.
thanks for the time to read this...honda guru's take the podium......

discount wearever rotors $19/ea
semi-metalic pads $25 front pair
they come with a warranty too
call it a day....unless you see yourself doing lots of highspeed rapid braking youre wasting your money.

NO NO NO, what you put down is exactly the kind of set-up i thought you would be adequate. i mean that set up doesnt compare to a big brake kit. what you posted was right along the lines of the setup i had in mind. just different companies. i dont feel that setup being expensive, especially for the piece of mind you get from a better braking system? true?
