New clutch break-in period???????

Default New clutch break-in period???????

i just got a racing clutch for a car and i was wondering what is the best way to break it in. how long should i take it easy and whats the good way to break it in for racing????? thanx for input!!!!

when i got mine i drove it for 1k miles without getting on it. around town miles not the interstate.

depending on what it is....4 pucks , 6 pucks etc. dont have to be broke in , you just go give them hell.

A regular clutch , i would say 250-500 miles , depending on how muc of a puss you are

exactly how i feel

but on a stock clutch i would say after 200 miles of city driving you can give it hell. they dont need much really ..

yup Racing clutch = well umm... RACING!

mine is a clutch masters stage three carbon\kelvar segmented disc clutch kit which is mated to a 8.5 fidanza lightweight flywheel.

couple days in stop and go traffic(~50 miles or so) is more than enough IMO
