what honda motor is this
Hello all, I was looking at this 00si and it his a red valve-cover simliar to the type-r motors.
I was wondering if anyone new for sure what kind of motor is it?
is it the stock si motor with a red valve cover, or is an engine swap? plz help me out, thanks

That picture is tiny man. Looking at the block height i would say it was a B16a With a red valve cover. Could be JDM but you cant tell without lookin at the block.

i just fixed your image tags and it seems that you posted the same pic a few times... lol
well yeah i would also guess B16... it is in a civic and not in an integra so i would not think it was a type r unless it was swapped in... is this a stock photo???

intake manifold is a B16a2 so i give it a plus1 on b16

. It's prolly a B16 like everyone said. They prolly just wanted to be JDM TIGHT and put a REDDDDD valve cover on it.
