Default obd0->obd1, crome, vafc II, no map signal?

I just realized that my car hasnt been reading a map signal this whole time.... Now, i checked all the pins, wires, everything. Everything is good. Except the funny thing, the car runs without the map signal wire connected. Oh yea, and I have the .bin set to utilize the map sensor. So in crome, the box for map is UNCHECKED, meaning my car should be reading it. I found that the map cutoff threshold was at 114 mbar, i changed it to 1734 mbar. I thought that would fix the problem, but it didnt. I want to use my vafc II in my car but everytime I hook up the CUT map wire to run throught the afc, the car wont run. It reeevs to like 3 grand or lower for a couple seconds, then dies. If i press the gas it dies even quicker.

I need my map sensor to work badly, I also need my vafc to function correctly.... Can anyone help analyze the problem? Maybe its the ecu? The check engine light doesnt come on with the map enabled or disabled.

I have chipped p06 on the 1720 board. Using crome. Stock map sensor. 91 integra obd converted. If youve heard of this or experienced this problem before please let me know!

Un-install your vafc, fix your wiring mess if there is one which there probably is, then do a couple of continuity tests to ensure you have a proper connection; if that fails try replacing the map sensor.

Good Luck.

why are you running crome and the vafc hack? that's like using aem ems and vafc. I don't see the reason, so if there is a valid one, please let me know.

i dont have a laptop yet, i like having to the piggy back to make minor changes when the map has an imperfection.

the wiring harness & conversion harnesses arent hacked in the least.

the map signal wire is straight up NOT connected and thats the way the cars been running. thats what im trying to figure out....so wierd. i tried unplugging it, and obviously the cars behavior doesnt change...runs normal. pretty much impossible sounding to me.
