I need someones help. This is what it looks like, I was kind of in a rush and I dont know as much as I wish I do about mechanics so can someone tell me what I will need to put this in my car. I will be using the cams and everything else from the old engine including the valve cover gasket which was replaced recently, plus I went out and bought the head gasket and intake mani. gasket. What other seals/gaskets do I need to put this on my car as soon as possible? Thanks.

 

did you get the cam acps with the head??? this is very important!!!! you could have possible clearence issues using your old cam caps... the caps are exactly matched to the head, you could get luckey and not have a problem. ususally whenever i see a head that is for sale and does not come with the cap i dont even think about purchasing it. you can try to use you old caps but make sure that you mic the cams and the caps to make sure that there is sufficent oil clearence or you could have a serious problem. i.e. metal shavings entering your motor. lmk if you need help with this...

 

Yeah I got the cam caps, the head bolts and the cams themselves.. If you have any more advice give me a call (813) 334-4028, always willing to learn something. Really I just need to know If I need any other gaskets aside from the exhaust manifold gasket.

 

do you need any help on how to put the head together? or just gaskets. it seems you have them all listed i guess except an exhaust manifold gasket.
