Ugh heres the deal
We bought a car for my sister from my aunt not too long ago, but the car has absolutely nothing but problems (95 Honda accord) and doesnt start up anymore.
We're thinking about just selling it and giving back the money to my aunt, and we're thinking of what we're going to do.
I kinda came up with the idea of saving up about 6-8 month's worth of pay (already taking out bills, gas, tax, rent, and all that other bs) and i get somewhere in the neighborhood of ~$500+ dollars a month.
After $3-4k i was planning on giving my sister my current car, my 94 Nissan altima GLE since those KA24DE's last forever and incredibly reliable, and should be no problem with my wimpy driver of a sister.
With the $3-4k i would put down payment on an Integra GSR (a car which i've liked for a very long time.) and hope to pay relatively small amounts per month and hopefully not kill me with burden.
Anyways what do you think about a $7k integra with around 150k miles on it? I do like to drive fast and race a little and am planning on modding stuff once i get it paid off and my insurance stops raping me, but im not planning on completely trying to make it into a dying-prone racecar.
SO thats my plan, I'm wondering if i'm doing an OK thing, or maybe i should just wait a little while more and save up enough to just buy my sorta new favorite car (nissan 300ZX ~12k). But i just need a car soon for my sister since she's starting college this fall...
Help? any suggestions idea's will be taken seriously, thanks a bunch.

dont get me wrong i love my lude and teg so im all about h/a...but the 300zx (cream color) is one bad ass ride...would u go for the tt one or na ...a buddy of mine had a 300zx and it was smooth like butta...it has more way more class then a teg..if i had the extra cash i would have much raither gotta 300 but the car was for my girl and i didnt think she could handle the power so i went with a low mile ls teg...if u fiend for the car its worth the wait...the 300zx will be one of my next cars or i might get a bustang 5.0 w/a mean body kiy and new crate motor...gsrs are all ova the place but the 300zx is a fading breed and well worth the extra cash..g/l which eva way u go
