Default My car is running real bad. I need help

ok i have a jdm b16a swap in my 1990 acura integra, and when i start the car up it idles fine, but then as soon as I start to drive it, in any gear it runs like shit. It sounds like its missing and its real slow. i checked the codes and its throwing a number 22 which is the vtec pressure valve. so obviously my vtec isnt working either. but would that "valve" or pressure switch make my car run like that? I have changed the plugs, and i am fixin to put and msd cap, coil, msd box, and plug wires in it, to see if i changes. i already ordered the switch from auto zone it was 77.00 but if that will stop my problem then it will be worth it. can somebody please help me.

22 which is the vtec pressure valve. But i dont think that it would make my car run like that, and when i was driving home from work today the vtec worked. but the car was still breaking up. but the vtec only worked in 1st gear.

as for vtec not working or sometimes does check for a clean spool and that the wire to the solenoid is not loose. and for running like crap check the o2 sensor.
