you drain all the fluid out of the tranny , then you put 2.5 quarts in it ...its not hard.

topping it up
When topping it up, remove the bottom bolt, pour oil into the speed sensor,
and when it comes out the bottom bolt, IT'S FULL!
........and that way you cannot overfill it.-Bob
