The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Just run the time
Oh, I am going to do it... I am getting slicks, and I will run the car how it sits now, and see what happens, and then run it on the higher boost and race gas... If I cant get it into the 11s with traction (which has always been my biggest issue) and driving skill alone, I will get it there by overpowering it down the track... With the changes that have been made to the car lately, and the improvements to my driving skills, it should get where it should be... Especially now that Ive given up on drag radials and moved on... Not to mention I have a transmission that actually goes into gears now... (Thanks to Neal/cxcivic for the rebuild/upgrades )

Guess we will just have to wait til track day and see....

its physics.....i have a book here if you want to read it. basicly, wide tires just change the shape of the contact patch, but the area(amount of rubber on the road) is the same as the narrow tire. If you deflate the tire, the contact patch grows. only way to put more tire on the track is drop those air pressures. there is a point of diminishing returns though, when it comes to traction. for example, if you deflate the tire all the way, you will be riding on the rim...not good. you then would have to find the "window" of a tires grip. -Neal
