Default NHT Brake Calipers

Well i've come to the conclusion that i need a better braking system. I've fried two OEM spec rotor/pad combos in the past month. I was planning on going for the best bang for the buck system, which would be the AEM big brake kit (now produced by powerslot). It comes with Rotors, SS lines, Caliper adjustments, hardware etc. I found NHT calipers, but i cant exactly figure out if there better than OEM spec, i've looked for other brands (rotora, brembo, etc) and can't find any for the civic ex non-abs. Can any1 give me a hand here?

Thanks.

im in the process of putting Integra Da brakes/calipers on the front and converting my drums in the back to disc brakes. I had these Da Integra front brakes on my other hatch and they are hell of alot better than my oem (91 Hatch) brakes.

I thought about going that route, but i'd rather just piece a brand new complete set together. I might even still do something similar, except a acura legend caliper/prelude vtec rotor setup. Thanks for the reply though, any other feedback?

How did you "fry" your oem brakes? Were they Honda or aftermarket pads?
I dont see how you can go through that many brakes in such short time unless your REALLY REALLY hard on them.

Ive never heard of NHT, but the stock (nissin?) are pretty good in a reliability sense. I would stay away from cross-drilled personally and opt for slotted only. Seen too many crack between the holes. You can almost put any caliper on your knuckle with the correct relocator bracket. Brembo's are sweet, monoblock aluminum multi piston etc., but your gonna pay for them unless you got a hook up.
Fastbrakes.com has alot of oem upgrade brake kits and custom brackets and stuff. I would recommend a larger master cylinder if you get bigger piston calipers. If not, youll actually lose clamping pressure at the same pedal pressure.
I have the accord V6/ITR calipers with 11" slotted prelude rotors and a 1" master cylinders on my civic and recommend it as a good upgrade. 15" wheels are a minimum though.
