K, tomorrow I'm buying an LS longblock and b16 hydro tranny from Jay @ Janky productions, I plan to get home and start swapping it tomorrow so I'd like to know a few things..

Can I use my stock EG shift linkage and just cut/reweld it (wont be for long, just until I get my next paycheck)

Can I use my stock EG passenger and rear mounts until I can find some DC teg mounts or buy some hasports when I get paid


Don't flame me on this, I've never swapped an EG before, I've always done crx's where you can cut the stock linkage, etc. Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance

yes your stock linkage will work, but heres the good part, YOU DONT HAVE TO CUT ANYTHING< IT BOLTS UP!

mounts are the same, DCs and EGs

all you need are some axles

i am pretty sure you have to use dc linkage for a bolt up, and i am also pretty sure you need the teg rear t bracket but other than that the mounts are fine. i could be wrong

use integra upper mounts, rear bracket, not too sure on the linkage. i used the teg linkage.

Hmm, this is so 2 sided, I've heard from tons of people that the stock shit will work, but yet I've heard from tons of people it wont, I need to hear from someone who has used stock mounts and linkage in a b-series EG swap!

you know what i am gonna have to kick myself in my own dick for this one cause for some reason i do remember getting an shift linkage for an integra but i cant remember if it was for my swap or a buddies.

Anyways, I'm just going to go to autozone and buy all new OEM replacement DC teg mounts for 87 bux all 3, and toss some DC linkage over the fence at a junkyard and let it ride
