What is Better B1 mini me or stock z6
hey i want to know what is quicker if done right a mini me with a d15b1 or a stcok z6 i heard the comprression on the mini me is better there for quicker correct me if im wrong

well, you know what i have already, and my bud has a ef w/ a z6, dc sport headers, p28(chipped), si tranny, and i can take him by 1 1/2 car lengths from a dig. from a 30mph roll, i can jump 2 1/2 lengths like it's nothing. just my 2 cents. also depends on driver.

i know the mini me is fast but they keep on tellin me that the b1 is an 8 valve so the piston wont fall right on the valves , i did my research and its half and half i dont know what to do

are you talking about the Crx HF motor which is the 1.5 8 valve D15b6??, you cant use the stock block without swapping pistons cause there is no valve relief for the other 8 valves , when you put the 16 valve head on , I would try Hondamotorsonline or Osaka you can get a SOHC vtec motor shipped for under $900 with tranny to your door what chassis are you using?

idk, again, my combo seems to be pulling hard. i went up against my buds EG hatch, with almost the same mods. and he was using a b7 block with a y8 head, i pulled him hard. but than again, i got pulled by a b1(with b7 pistons) and a z6 head. add a couple more things than me done, but still. He pulled away fairly fast?!?!? (also because i no longer have vtec hooked up and back at a 6k redline?!?!?!***any insight on that could help, or if anyone is selling a p28 ecu***

well i did some research and +1 to Jiucy J cause it is true the only way you can do a b1 would have to be by switching the pistons cause the valves wont fall right there for you would have to say (BYE vtec head) which is not good however i am gonna drop a b2 which i heard makes a real good setup thanxz for all the help
