Default skunk 2 intake manifold on n/a ls

i was thinking bout investing a skunk2 intake manifold on my ls hatch, w/ i/h/e camgears and adjustable fpr. will there be any noticable gains. i was told before that aftermarket intakes will not make much of a difference on a n/a car. lmk thanks

Well yea of course it will make a difference on a N/A car if your car is demanding that much more air and your stock intake is that restrictive. IMO with your mods you dont need it. Pop some cams in there and raise the comp a bit and then throw a manifold on there

^^^exactly. with just i/h/e i wouldnt waste the money. it'll actually make your car slower if you get a larger plenum intake mani without having the power to need one.
