In a recent thread I started I had asked if there was a part to help with grinding third gear with the new addition of a STS, although I was a bit off as to why the gears are ground I did find the part! Here it is!

Anyone using this part or heard anything about the reliabilty. The part is backed by a 5 year warranty. Anywho I'm out like a fat kid in dodgeball....

There was a big thread about thoes on honda tech, and almost every user's only lasted 50- 500 miles. Lots of problems with them when they were first released. Im not sure if it has been revised yet

Edit: heres a review saying it has been fixed. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1411146

I'd have to disagree with you but only for one reason, my short throw shifter gives me a 2" throw from 1st to 2nd, I have had people in it that have racing experience and even they have had to do a double take because they couldn't believe it was actually in 2nd and not neutral. if it's stock throw then I'd agree with you but if it's just standard short throw then it may be just a matter of not wanting to "punch" the pedal every time you want to shift so that your foot keeps up with your hand...basically laziness...which isn't always a bad thing.
