Default Swap Info.

Im interested in putting a H22A motor in a EF or EG. Does anyone know anything about this particular swap? I would like if possible information on the swap in both cars (ef and eg). Thanks to anyone who leaves me valuable info.

Thanks TR

Get Hasport mounts and axles and the motor fits fine in either car. Wireing is harder in an ef but not too bad. I'd do an ef since there are not too many running around with an H.

I thinkyoull have to cut and weld on the center tunnel to convert to the H22 shift cables.

Its kinda like, once you go H22, its more work to convert to stock or even to drop a d series in if your H blows...
If you dont do all the work yourself, most shops will charge a bit more to do jobs just because its such a tight fit...Good clean H22 swapped EF's are hard to find. Most the ones ive seen are hacked up...shame!

Hasport made the first kit but there are a ton of other brand kits that are cheaper.I think Hasport make the nicest though.

might and could but with this guy he had solid mounts so i guess he took that into consideration. also there was minimum of clearance between the intake manifold and the firewall so you would want little to no movement of this motor in a shell like that.

With the new Hasport mounts it clears stock hood. Do an EF Joel.
