Well my sunroof is all rusted and i poked a hole through it with my finger on accident. I guess im just going to remove it but i dont know what to fill it with. mb products sells fiberglass inserts for 125.. i was thinking maybe weld some thin metal on top, fill the middle with somthing then weld the bottom.. Do any other honda sunroofs fit in the 89 si crx? i could just go junkyard diving and find one. any other suggestions let me have it.

 

oh yeh how much does the sunroof with the motor weigh?

 

i too am having rust issues on my sunroof...i found cf sunroof plug kits...i think thay run about $325 u can find um on ebay...

 

yea they also have a c/f sunroof (not a plug).i got a extra sunroof if your interested?its balck in color no dents.does have lil bit of rust where the rubber strip is.but when on the car is seals up good.

how much u willen to spend.ill give it to ya for 50 bucks.use all your hardware to put it back on.i will give you the rubber seal that goes round it.

how do u not trust ebay...if u use paypal whateva u buy is insured to be the item u bought or you get or money back up to a $1000 for free...i bought most of my parts on ebay and have never had a problem

someone has to have an idea to replace the sunroof. I've seen a guy use sheet metal, but it ended up wrinkling and looked like shit. I was thinking a light metal like that, but way sturdier.
