ef steering rack bushings?

Default ef steering rack bushings?

ok heres, the deal, when i shake my steering wheel i hear a clunk, check my balljoints my driver side was bad so i changed it. well its still doing it inners are good (but i do have a extra set) so im thinking my rack bushings. most people tell me its not that often a rack itself goes bad. anyone else have this problem? also where i can find some poly rack bushings locally lmk thanks

sounds like the inner rack joint which basically means a new rack is needed. You can try the bushings and if they don't do the trick they can always be transferred to the next rack.

+! see it always on ef NO POWERSTEERING so the racks suck a quickfix is tighten the 14mm nut on the rack JUST a lil the tighter you make it the harder it is to steer but will make the wheel lil stiffer

right at the gear jack the car up right under the drivers side

ok i looked the one right under the shaft is a 14mm but bitch aint budging at all

could be several things. Does it make a rattle like sound when going over any bumps? Like the front end is loose?

*tie rod ends
*check loose suspension related bolts LCA bolts, worn bushings etc.
*balljoints
*struts
*wheel bearing

yea i know it needs front struts, it does rattle when i go over bumps, but when parked and i shake the wheel really fast and short i hear it clunking in teh rack got new inners and a new out driver, guess this is gonna force me to sell my turbo kit
