Default Timing belt change and p0172 code

I did a little bit of searching and came up with nothing. A freind of mine had his timing belt changed 2KSi B16A2. Now his car is throwing the P0172 code. I am curious as to what could cause this. His car ran fine before the work was done.
I think the timing is off somehow. HIs mechanic used Alldata and they had my Helms manuel for reference.

Any insight would be helpful.. cause I am going to be doing the timing on my 2KSi soon.

P0172 means you're running rich.

Would changing the timing belt cause this? The car was running fine before the timing belt change.

No thats not me, I'm asking for Paul (I work with him) I am thinking that one of the cams moved when the timing belt was put on. That would explain the rough Idle and the bogging feel from idle. He also said they did the cam seals but I don't think it would kock the dizzy that much out of time to cause these symtoms. I suggested that he should have the shop re-do the timing, maybe they missed something.
