is 10.5:1 a good compression to run for nitrous......the motor will have Forged Pistons and Rods.....also it s a SOHC D16a6.......im prolly gonna spray a 100 shot...thanks TR

yea, thats good. you could probably do more than 100, just make sure to DEFINITLY replace the rods. if you can, ide also get it sleeved, for extra security.

you'll be fine spraying it! just remeber to retard the timing! and make sure your fuel mixture is right! dont run too lean!!!!!! the bigger the shot= the more you retard the timing! and the more compression = the more you retard the timing! like we've all discussed in other threads, it's good to use a msd ignition system with a built in retard for the spray! if you're not sure how to time it for the spray, then take it to a good tuner to get it set up. wrong timing and wrong fuel mixture is the biggest cause of nos related engine blows!
