Radio Security Code, need ASAP!
K, so I leave my lights on, of course the battery dies, and the radio needs a code... Here is the thing, my car is a 96 civic ex, and the radio is outta a 99 ex, I've got the vin to the car it came from, radio serial, reference number, etc. but honda won't give me the code since its not from my car. The last few radio's I've got have been from a 99ex and their codes have been 35353, not this one. Does anyone work at honda, or have one of those security code decoders that you gotta pay 24 bux for or anything? Here is info incase someone can do it, PM me with the code if you would, thanks guys!!

I remember once crx1.8 (now username is RC) did it for me, took him 2 minutes once I gave him the code, but I can't get a response from him, nor a reply to my PM's.. My local honda dealer makes you come in with the car before they give it to you.. Driving without a radio is getting to be fucking annoying!

Are you serious...robbie88 here on tr had a cd player from a 99 teg and we needed the code...i called acura with the serial number and they gave me the code with out a problem...call different honda dealerships theres bound to be someone thats not a dickfuck
