integra fuel pump question

integra fuel pump question
i was wondering if a 90-93 fuelpump will bolt up to a 89 integra fuel tank, i heard that it does, but i called discount auto and the lady told me that they are different. i need to know if someone is 100% positive if it fits or not, thanks

This was covered once upon a time on Team-Integra.net, And I do recall the answer to your question is No, They will not fit.

all integra and civic fuel pumps are the same and will work with eachother EXCEPT thos even no its injected it if im not mistaken way different but im sure you can get it in there some how

The very short answer is no...90-93 integra fuel pump will not bolt up to 89 integra tank.
the reason for this is 90+ integras had fuel pump mounted inside of fuel tank.
86-89 integra had externally mounted fuel pump.
