Want to run the 0bd1 grey clip engine in my 90 crx hf.
I have the 92-93 Xsi grey Plug swap
Have Jumper Harness.

Need either a diagram of what the wires coming out of the main grey plugs are
Or
Pay someone who knows how to do this neatly


I do not want to hack up the 2 harnesses to make it work
I have the entire uncut obd1 grey plug harness with the main harness side still connected and plenty of wire coming off.

Let me know is anyone is up for the task

i have never done an obd0 to obd1..yes i rewire crx's but never done that and would not like to try it unless i know for sure what i am doing...you need to talk to kris or KJ at cms..pm kris (punkinterviews) and i know for sure that they can get it right..i just dont want to get into something thats over my head..me my self would change the engine to obd0 and make it alot easier..i will pm you KJ's #...give him a call..if he does not answer leave a message and he will get right back with you... You say you have the jumper right ? its not plug and play ??

 

man i was just thinking..there is a guy in tampa ,his name is KENJI..he makes straight plug and play jumper harness's...i will try to find his # for you..its been a long time sence i have seen him but he is one of the best around..if i cant find his # just get with kj cause he is great with wire issues..

Ive got the obd0 to odb1 jumper harness from JHPUSA but as i mentioned, the engine i bought has the grey plugs (like the ones in 92-95civics and DC's). I simply want to un-pin the 3 cream mainplugs from my main harness ,re-pin those wires into the grey plugs that came with the swap, ill post a pic when i get home of the clips and the wiring so that you know what im implying.

This would be MUCH cleaner and simpler to do that hacking up 2 perfectly good harnesses just to make one.
And I definitely dont want to convert it to obd0 considering i bought this swap intentionally for the purpose of being obd1.

If I can somehow find the color/pin chart for the plugs for the ef main plugs and the 92 xsi grey main plugs, I could repin myself.

Just trying to do something different and have it done flawlessly

Heres some pics of what im working with, h-motors had me inpressed when i saw the motor when it got here, exceptionally clean, with nothing broken, and best of all, completely uncut wiring and they left me the main side of the clips with plenty of wire coming off.

I want to depin the main harness side of these clips and re-pin with the ef wires and the added wires coming from the jumper

 

problem is some of the wires switch sides.....its MUCH neater to cut the harness, otherwise you will have extra wires in the engine bay. I can put the harness back together, and you would swear it was factory. But i can do it either way you want. -Neal
