Question got some wiring problems, what the hell is this?

Just recently I cant start my start my car but I have power. I hear clicking in the ECU when I try to turn it over. Now when Im driving its like a wire is loose and makes my temp guage spike up like a tach when its on rough roads. My O2 sensor went bad and I unplugged it, so the light always stays on. Whenever the temp guage spikes up the light for the check engine gets very bright. I have a brand new starter. The little female elec. connector that goes on the starter is alittle loose but I crimped it and its fine. What I dont know where to go for this problem, anyone know of someone? Damn, if theres one more problem im getting rid of this car.

Check your grounds, it's silly but it can affect the car in a lot of ways. From what I understand the car is starting now and driving but with problems right? You can try using a jumper cable and go straight from the negative terminal of the battery to either the starter or a point in the engine. Then drive around, see if there's any differences. Also you should fix that o2 and plug it in. The computer needs it's signal to work properly.

I had something similar happen to me it was just bad grounding. The o2 sensor can cause the car to run like crap, but it should start. What year is the car, is it the teg or the EK

Do the jump wire trick, get ground from the battery straight to the block see if it starts.
