Default Car wont start sometimes....

I used to have a problem with the wire that connects to the starter soleniod, it would fall off its terminal. So I crimped it alittle harder and I started up just fine. About 2 or 3 days later, If the car has been sitting there for a little while (sometimes a couple hours to all day) it wont start at all. Ill try to turn it over, all the lights come on like normal, radio, everything. I hear a clicking though by the ecu,( its coming from inside the cab), I wouldnt think there should be a noise coming from there. Then I resort to pushing that bitch and jumping in to start it up. That works fine, and after I get done driving it will start up everytime afterwards........I cant think of what this could be. Maybe a loose wire ground itself out by the starter ? I checked for any loose connection even on the ecu..

whatcha think?

sounds like a ground prob,so recheck all ground's, thier one that goes from the body to the tranny, body to the valve cover, wiring harness to the t-stat housing right but the starter, and make sure the two wires are tight in the fuse box mine was loose causing the same problem, and also tighten the battery cables.

Battery, starter, or altenator? Get them checked out at Advanced (its free). That right there will clear out 3 things. Just a thought...
