f22 and h22 question?

Default f22 and h22 question?
i am pretty sure f series and h series trannies are interchangable but i want to make sure real quick before i spend some money... a centerforce stage 2 clutch and 8lb lightweight flywheel bought for a f22, will that fit an h22 with no problems? thanks

Count the splines on each, and measure the diameter. - I cannot remember off the top of my head if they are interchangable. - Im leaning twards yes, but with some type of adapter? I could be wrong, it's been quite some time.

what will the counting and measuring do? i swear i have heard that the trannies and all that goes with it are completely interchangable but i need to make sure

If the splines from each of the clutches are the same, that means they will fit onto the input shaft of your transmission. If they are the same diameter, that means it will line up with your flywheel. IE. If they both match. It will fit.

It is possible that the transmissions are interchangable, but the flywheels are not, which may cause an unknown issue to you. Just because the trannies work, doesn't mean the flywheel will. So if the flywheel is a different size the clutch wont fit. See why I suggested this?

You can run a F series tranny on a H motor , but i think the clutches may be different.

but the f series trannies are shit i wouldnt fuck wiht one anyways.

i went to a few online stores that sell clutches such as www.clutchcityonline.com and looked up the clutch for a prelude and it has the same part number and price for a f22,h23 and h22 clutch kit by centerforce....?
