Default Piggyback systems worth the money?

looking into a safc 2 for the turbo ls set up and was wondering if the car gets dyno tuned isnt it usless to have one? even if not the majority of the people i talk to who have it dont know how to tune the damn thing and end almost blowing the motor from setting it up too lean. does it just look pretty in most cases? with a chipped pr4 and dyno tuned i should be good w/o the safc right?

if your getting the ecu chipped with a map from the dyno tuning the safc is useless. the safc is to let you tune the motor without chipping it. for a turbo setup I would not reccommend the safc hack, it just fools the ecu into thinking it has certain signals, you can do more damage and no good going this route. get it dyno tuned and chipped, save the money for the safc to spend on something else.

I like the AEM EMS but not everyone can afford it. You have so many options as far as tuning goes.

* AEM EMS
* Hondata S300
* Crome
* Uberdata
* Microtech
* Turbo Edit

I can go on and on. If you cant afford a Hondata S300 or AEM EMS I would recommend Crome Pro from Mtber here on the boards.
