Default Hmm, low on fluid??

K, the tranny is an s4c (jdm b16a sirII, hydro) this tranny was PERFECT yesterday, here I'm driving today, put it in 4th, drive for a few seconds and it pops out of gear, I try to go into 3rd and second and it wont go (clutch is pushed in), let the clutch out and push it back in, and it went into every single gear fine, right now my 4th is fine, but it was popping out for about 30 minutes and now it seems to be ok, but I'm still wondering why it did it.. Could I be low on tranny fluid? I checked the clutch fluid and it was FILTHY, like almost black filthy, could that have something to do with it? I'm new to hydro trannies, I've ALWAYS delt with cable

Nah, the synchro isn't bad I don't think b/c at 9000 rpms it didn't even grind, then out of nowhere it just starts to pop out for about 30 minutes, and now its fine again but I was wondering what it could be?

Well I was talking to blake (vertigo), he said that there are little retention clips that go bad, that if its popping out of gear, its not the fluid, its the tranny itself. Is this true? I REALLY hope not.

K I just went outside and bled the clutch once, and my tranny isnt doing it anymore, it only did it for like 20-30 mins today, and thats it... I just beat the hell out of it to almost 9k in 1,2,3,4 gear, and it didnt pop out once, even rode out 4th on i-4, and it seems fine.. Wtf could it have been?
