Bert!!!! Youre the man!!! You took it right out of my mouth!!!

Either go w/ Bert-O's choice or go w/ the stock intake arm and stock air box w/ a K&N filter... Take out all of that extra intake piping (all it does is restrict air-flow and quiets down the stock intake itself) and you wont have to worry about water... cya

If I was in your situation, ITB's would be my number one choice (if you have the money) Otherwise, I've always been a fan of K&N/Iceman Intakes.....Use the ICA option in the winter and change it out in the more wet months.

So far I've invested only $280 into my ITB setup, I just need to put it all together, purchase a IM gasket, and find 4 velocity stacks that will fit to finish the project.

I'll let you know what kind of gains I make with them in a month or so.

They are not just used for engine bay bling.

yeah I'm really leaning towards the K&N filter replacement unless someone can show that something else works better. I've never seen that ITB thing before. I'm looking for the best bang for the $ too.

YEAH... The ITB'S are the SHHHHHHHH*******TTTTTTT if you can afford them! I would be able to afford $350-$400 for some ITB's but I know that I wouldnt be able to make them work like you (outkasted24)... I would be the dumb a$$ that pays $1500 or $2000 for some real ones!!! B/C I'm ree ree like that ... O-well... If your looking for something to get,Like I said before, I would go w/ the K&N filter! Make sure to take the extra plastic pipe out too!!! You probably arent going to feel any difference betweeen the two but you arent going to feel anything w/ an aftermarket intake either! (its all in peoples imagination) good luck, cya!
