point is....its a good concept but so was communism. The good part = its cold air.....the bad part= why in gods name would you want to put the filter in the front of the car, thats just dumb

I don't think they where ever "designed" for performance either, just to give you the "intercooler look". Short rams are good. The difference between a short ram and a CAI is minimal if any. No risk of Hydrolocking either.
