Default Dang VAFC 2 pulling codes??

I installed a Apexi v-afc 2 on my 99 civic si. Works excellent but, everytime i change the vtec switch point lower than 4,800 rpm it pulls a code. I ran it with my code reader. Its puling 1259 which is the VTEC code. Vtec still is turning on, just i'm tired of erasing codes ?? Does anyone else have this problem on OBD2 hondas ?? Anyone know a fix ??? ANyone know the problem ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!!

No i'm sure i ran it threw the controller. VTEC is still engaging is the wierd thing maybe the wires aren't securely in the connector boots or something ?? i am still able to adjust the vtec change over point also ?? any help is greatly appreciated. Should i just soulder the whole thing ??

it is your wiring.

It is most likely throwing the pressure switch code. because when you put in the vafc the pressure switch is not needed to pop vtec, the controller does it. So what is going on is it is popping the solinoid but the pressure switch isnt reading, therefore throwing the code.

thats why you are supposed to run the pressure solinoid wire into the vtec controller and it terminates there, the vafc tricks it, so to speak into thinkning it is at the right oil pressure to operate vtec
