Default Have some Engine Questions.....

Ok well since doing my Auto to Manny conversion, I am itching to start another project.
Here is the deal

I have an LS motor that I got out of the donor car for my Tranny.
I would like to try out the LS/Vtec, since I have the extra engine to fool around with.

from what I understand and please correct me if I am wrong I am looking for a B16A1 from a Civic SI. So far I think what I need to do is pair up the Vtec head from that engine to my LS Block. is that correct?, and if so is there a head # that I need to know when looking for just Vtec Head.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Michele

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

DO NOT use stock ls rod bolts, and if you have the bottom end apart to do the rod bolts, I suggest you shotpeen the rods, they are only good to like 7200rpms or something..
