I wanna swap out my Non-vtec D16Y7 head for a D16Y8 head which is vtec is it a direct swap.. I know I will need to swap the ECU out for a EX but is that all I will need to swap out.. No rewiring is needed.. and do the D16Y7 and D16Y8 have the same bottomend and internals? tell me wut Ill need to do in order to swap this out and make my 96 LX vtec..

Specs on Internals are the same.. so there the same bottom end.. What about everything else?

the only thing u have to do is swap out ecu's and wire up vtec everything is the same and u'll get more compression

 

Will I need to splice into anything ??

 

Anyone sell a Conversion Harness?

 

You dont need a conversion harness.

All you have to do is wire in vtec. 3 wires , if you cant do it , i usually charge 75$
