tranny question
ok so i swapped out my old tranny put in the new one... i put the passenger side axel back in and it fit fine works great... i went to put the drivers side axel back in the tranny and it feels like it dosent want to go in any further to reach the little gear things... so basicly when i push it all the way in and spin the wheel from the passanger side the driver side dosent turn... i think the drivers side axel may be the wrong length?... are there different axels or what??? i need some help with this question asap! thanks tr

i think the axles are the same. does the tranny have fluid in it? are you sure its a good tranny? start the car before you put it on the ground and see if the axles move than. make sure you have the axles seated in the hubs and make sure you have them all the way in the tranny. somtimes in hard to get em in that last little mm.
are you putting the axles in the hub before you put em in the tranny? i always put em in all the way in the tranny first then put them in the hubs.

yah i put them all the way in before putting them in the hub... the passanger side goes in fine and everything, but the driver side just seems like it dosent want to go in far enough,
check the c clip for damage. look at the diff to see if there is anything wrong with the diff. if there is nothing wrong then damn it try harder sometimes they are hard to install. if worse comes to worse hit the outer joint with a brass hammer
