Default new best time in the CRX

ran a 15.130 @ 88.53mph today.

my previous best was a 15.259 @ 87.08mph

the 15.2 was run at night, with 1/4 tank of gas, and the exhaust ended at the resonator.

the 15.1 was run with full tank of gas, full exhaust, at 2:30 in the afternoon (high 80s weather).

my butt dyno lied. the car didn't feel any different with the ZC cams (vs the D16A1 cams), but the timeslip disagrees.

Not bad for a car built for AutoX

you got a bit of a better top end......are you running a zc intake manifold also? my best was a 14.9 @ 91 m.p.h.......similar set up as you but with some mild head porting in a 3g civic (weighed in at about 1850 lbs. with 1/4 tank of gas and roll cage).....btw...do you autocross the crx?

not yet. i have some part-throttle issues to work out.

im using the D16A1 mani.

it's a later D16A1 (88+, black top).

the 'feel' of the car hadn't changed except for 6000-7000rpm. the torque doesn't fall off as much.

the car is not aerodynamically tip-top as it is plagued from the 1g CRX "broken header panel" syndrome. which i plan on fixing. the CRX has just taken a major back burner (indefinitely), for the time being as i focus on my doctoral studies.
