There have been a couple of S2000's broken into during the last couple of weeks and they all had their seats stolen.

How do I know? I was one of those that got my car broken into. Latest victim was some guy in St.Pete.

Keep it safe in a garage or upgrade the security system on it.

Insurance would cover this, yes? I have a brand new OEM BBS STi wheel from insurance coming soon and I'll sell that and get a very nice alarm.

There's really no comparison...the two cars are extremely different. The S2000 likes to rev and zoom around, the STi like to be driven hard as well, but in a different manner. Dirt/sand/snow driving is the most fun you'll ever have in the front seat of a car....

Yep, insurance will cover it.

The total cost to replace everything that was stolen from my car came up to around $11,000.

That's for the two seats, steering wheel, and shift knob that some asshats stole.

Apparently the seats in our cars cost around $3-4,000 each!!!

They're Recaros. So jackasses like to steal those seats from us and sell them to ricers for cheap.
