ok when you use the hasport mounts do you use the cars stock brackets or the engines brackets, for instance I am swapping a b16 sirII into my 93 dx hatch. will I use the brackets that come with the motor or the cars brackets?

I am trying to see if it is worth it to get the hasport mounts on ebay, the mounts and the cable to hydro conversion kit for $325 when the conversion itself is $200 from hasport I'd pay the $125 extra just to avoid tracking down the integra and 99-00 si mounts that I still need.

umm...didnt the sir ii come is the 92-95? if so its a bolt up you can use the b16 mounts and everything i think. no kit needed. someone correct me if im wrong. i dont remember 100% what year the sir ii came in.

 

yes the sirII came in the 92-95 jdm civic, but I just have the motor not the tranny, so I am using the cable A1 tranny from my b16 that was from an 88-91 jdm crx. so I have a cable tranny and hydro car, but If I can sell the cable tranny for a decent price and get a hydro b-series (gsr/ls) tranny for just afew hundred more than what I sell the cable tranny for, then I will go hydro.

 

ok than, you dont need anything to mount the motor except the stock b16 mounts. and for the tranny you can either reweld the mount on the car or use the hasport kit. if you get a deal on the whole hasport mount kit you might as well do it, their mounts are nice, but you dont NEED the rest of em, just the tranny one.
