K, I just put new wheels on my car, the lug nuts are tight as can be, they aren't out of balance and they aren't bent b/c they were fine on the other car.. Here is what it does:

When I'm driving the steering wheel shakes, and the wheel LOOKS bent but isnt.. When I get up to about 45-50mph it makes a sound like its hitting something (knocking sound, but not the motor) and squeaks.. Also when the car is on the ground, u kick the tire and it shakes a little and if you jack it up, and shake the wheel it shakes. My old wheels didn't do this and these wheels didn't do this on the car they came off of.. What in gods name could it be?? loose tie rod or something?

 

could be wheel hub if its whinning its the hub bearing, how does it wobbe like toe wobble or camber wobble.

 

could be tie rod, maybe even a ball joint. when you jack it up and move it does it turn left and right? or up and down? are you sure they are good rims? i would make sure they are balanced right anyway. its cheap and quick. maybe they were balanced buy one of the weights came off sometime in between when they were taken of and when they were put on.

 

It moves left and right when I try and shake it, and the rims are perfect, I drove the car they were on and it rode like a dream..

I had the same thing happen on my eg si. I replaced the inner and outer tie rods and problem solved.

K, the tie rod was broken, going to get a new one tomorrow and hopefully get it back on the road tomorrow...

WOW yeah you gotta see that bitch it was almost split in half outter tie rod end WOW lol lucky it didnt come apart driving !!

And damn dude On the way home a fucking board or something flew up and broke my damn driver side reaqr view mirror !! DAMNIT !!! lol
