wire actuator
Hey guys, i've got a wire actuator installed on my hatch so that i can open it with my keyless entry. I went to go move it today (cause the idiot that put it in put it in the wrong spot) and when i unplugged it, it made a noise and now when i plug it back in, it won't work. Anyone know what happened or how to fix it? I'm hoping not to have to buy a new actuator, this one is one a few months old. thanks

it's a two wire actuator. i'll take a picture of it. all it is is it has two wire on one side (pos and neg) and a wire coming out of the other side. when you push the trunk button, it pulls the cable.

does is matter if the cord isn't tight? like will the actuator only work and pull if there's tension on it?
